Every pet is different

Dogs and other pets differ in age, health, breed, history and temperament. A method that works for one animal may not suit another. Results depend on many factors, including consistency, environment and your pet’s wellbeing, so we cannot promise any particular outcome.

Check with your vet first

Talk to your vet before starting a new exercise, activity or training routine, especially if your pet is young, elderly, pregnant, injured or has a health condition. If your pet is unwell, injured or in an emergency, contact a vet immediately. Do not rely on an app.

Behaviour and safety

  • Always supervise training sessions and use suitable, well-fitting equipment.
  • Stop any exercise straight away if your pet shows signs of pain, fear, stress or exhaustion.
  • For aggression, severe anxiety or any behaviour that could put people or animals at risk, get help from a qualified professional before trying to train on your own.
  • Follow local laws about leads, muzzles, public spaces and animal welfare.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of your pet and of the people and animals around it. To the extent permitted by law, DogTrain is not liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage that results from using information in our apps or on this website.
