2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Your licence to use our apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our apps on Android devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You must not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent our apps or their content
• Reverse engineer or decompile our apps, except where the law allows this
• Remove or bypass any security, licensing or purchase features
• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or the systems they run on

4. Google Play

Our apps are distributed through Google Play. Your download of our apps, and any payments, are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

• Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy, and all payments are processed by Google Play.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel them in Google Play. Uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription.
• When you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policies and applicable law. If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us at android@dogtrain.store.

6. Your content

Content you create in our apps, such as notes, photos and training records, belongs to you. It is usually stored only on your device, so you are responsible for keeping your own backups. If you choose to use a feature that sends your content to us, you allow us to store and process it only to provide that feature to you.

7. Training and pet care information

Training and care information in our Services is general guidance only. It is not veterinary, medical or professional behavioural advice. You are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of your pet and of people and animals around it. Always supervise training, stop if your pet shows pain or distress, and consult a vet or qualified trainer about health, behaviour or safety concerns. Our Training & Pet Care Disclaimer forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including the DogTrain name and logo, app designs, text, graphics and software, are owned by DogTrain or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence in section 3, these Terms do not give you any rights in them.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve our Services without any obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

The Services may include links to, or features from, third parties such as Google. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

11. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering any part of the Services at any time, for example to fix problems, add features or meet legal requirements. Some updates may be needed to keep using an app.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any training result will be achieved.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DogTrain will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the app or purchase giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose.

14. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

15. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling our apps. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as sections 8, 12, 13 and 14, will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, tell you on our website or in the app. If you keep using the Services after an update, the updated Terms apply.
